Indians might have opinions that broadly vary along various sects and communities. However, one thing which unites them all is their excitement for a new season of Bigg Boss. You might have overt excitement for it or it might just be a guilty pleasure but, either way, it is something that ties us all together. The constant challenges as well as the fights and arguments carry such a sense of dramatism that simply cannot be missed.
After all, Bigg Boss has been one of the most contentious and yet most-watched reality series on Indian television, with the greatest TRP numbers. Every year for three to five months straight, audiences are delighted by the drama and hooked to the conflicts of the many contentious competitors of this reality show. At the beginning of this month, Bigg Boss has been released for yet another season. It is a surprise how long the show has been on air and come so far. However, it is only because of the viewers that these meaningless and ambiguous shows are given prominence.
Housemates frequently find themselves lost in the moment while living in the madhouse. The difficulties in the BB-house are made to bring out the worst in everyone. And it is during these aggressive moments that contestants cross boundaries. They overlook that cameras, their silent observers, have a 24-hour licence to document even the ugliest aspects of their identities for enjoyment by millions in India and around the world.
Salman Khan And His Flawless Hosting On Bigg Boss

The show’s presenter, Salman Khan, who has been dominating Bigg Boss with his flawless hosting, is the main factor that intrigues and surprises the audience. What will Bigg Boss 16 be like without Salman Khan? That’s because the GOAT presenter Salman Khan joined the reality programme in season 4 it has become a favourite for everyone in the population. We can’t imagine watching BB weekend episodes without Salman Khan supervising the contestants’ weekly performances at this point.
In the show, he may be lively and funny but there have also been instances when he has lost control and yelled at different candidates for different reasons. Watching him drill the competitors every weekend is a treat not only for his supporters but also for reality programme viewers. In addition, he has occasionally attacked the show’s competitors. Salman Khan has previously reprimanded a lot of celebrities in the previous season.
- Sapna Bhavnani

One of the competitors in the Bigg Boss house who got into a brawl with Salman Khan was Sapna Bhavnani. She is a fashion designer and celebrity hairstylist. She frequently exchanged angry words with the celebrity and chastised him for abusing others. She insulted him by calling him a monkey as well as a ‘serial woman beater’ in reference to his misogynistic behaviour. They don’t have the same viewpoint.
- Kushal Tandon

Tanisha Mukerji and Gauahar Khan did not have the best relationship with each other during their stay at the Bigg Boss house. Tanisha gradually came to dislike Gauahar’s former best friend and romantic interest. An assignment once required a group of housemates to stay inside a box for as long as possible. The people outside had to make an effort to free them. During that work, Kushal became quite hostile with Tanisha and spoke derogatory things to her.
Over the course of that weekend, Salman severely reprimanded Kushal for his improper conduct. He even lambasted the other housemates, particularly the female candidates, who stood by silently while Kushal made inappropriate remarks about another woman.
- Abhijit Bichukale

Abhijit Bichukale, a well-known Marathi TV personality and politician, participated in BB 15 as a wild card competitor. While he seemed amusing with his naïve behaviour, outlandish predictions and desire to become India’s Prime Minister, things went poorly when Bichukale moved into aggressive mode.
Salman repeatedly called him out for acting in a haughty manner. The actor did lose his cool on the participant once. Bichukale, who was furious, rushed out of the living room and declared he didn’t desire to be a part of the program.
- Priyanka Jagga

Priyanka Jagga, a competitor on Big Brother 10, was frequently seen trying to fight and prodding other housemates. Everything was still okay until the fatal week when she lost all control. She was obviously sick since she continuously said hateful and cruel things about her housemates. Bigg Boss cautioned her but she didn’t listen. Lopa Mudra Raut, Priyanka’s housemate, too burst into tears after hearing Priyanka make derogatory remarks about her.
In the weekend episode, Priyanka persisted in speaking in a haughty manner, even after Salman Khan expelled her for her unruly behaviour. He further threatened Colors TV that if Priyanka appeared on any of its shows or channel, he’d stop working with the channel.
- Paras Chhabra

In-house romance was a key theme of Bigg Boss 13, which sparked conversations about the participants’ private lives. During one of the weekend programmes, Salman Khan informed Paras Chhabra and Mahira Sharma that they appeared to be “more than buddies.” Salman also discussed Akanksha Puri, Paras’ previous lover. He added that his fiancée looks after Paras’ clothes, shoes and colognes.
Asserting that all of this is “bekaar ki baatein” and requesting that the creatives refrain from playing such things, Paras confronted the presenter. This infuriated the host, who claimed that they lacked any creative talent and that Akanksha had personally called him to inquire about Paras. Salman pointed at Paras telling him to shut up.
- Siddharth Dey

The main focus of Bigg Boss 13 was drama and fights. While the season became renowned for its dramatic rivalry, the candidates frequently lost their cool and made extremely offensive things about one another. One such incident occurred when roommate Siddharth Dey made disparaging remarks about Shehnaaz Gill during an assignment. When the author became enraged and made offensive remarks about Shehnaaz’s character, Shehnaaz apparently was just attempting to annoy Siddharth.
Salman was correct to be angry in the weekend episode. Siddharth’s attempt to justify his misogynistic remarks only made him more startled and irritated, and he told him to STFU.
- Shalin Bhanot and MC Stan

Salman Khan chastised Shalin and MC Stan for their physical altercation. “One believes that he is Bruce Lee, while the other believes that he is Dara Singh,” Salman stated. It would have been more fun if you guys had fought for real.” Salman criticised MC Stan for using vulgar language throughout the show.
Shalin stated that MC Stan should be requested to leave, to which an enraged Salman replied, “Who’s stopping you?” Salman lost his composure this season, which is unusual of him.
- Swami Om

One of the strangest competitors to ever appear on Bigg Boss was Swami Om. The self-styled Godman was frequently seen engaging in bizarre advertising tricks and stunts that were entertaining but frequently problematic.
During his contentious run on Bigg Boss 10, Salman frequently lost his cool due to Swami’s behaviour. He repeatedly issued warnings, made fun of him and even reprimanded him. He was subsequently kicked out of the house after spitting on Bani J.
Conclusion
Every season of Bigg Boss features a season full of controversy and drama. Bigg Boss’ game plan has been exceptionally good, and the show has always succeeded in keeping everyone’s attention as the season progresses. There were moments when we witnessed the Bollywood star, Salman Khan loses his cool in response to the Bigg Boss contestants’ shenanigans or inappropriate behaviour.
