That’s why Indian Filmmakers are expanding their work of creativity by creating pan-India movies and releasing them in multiple languages.
1. Adipurush
Releasing on 12th January 2023.
A mega-budget movie is on its way to grabbing the attention of movie freaks all over India. Adipurush has been the most anticipated movie since it made the announcement of the cast and release date. It will be the story of Ramayan. It stars Prabhas as Shri Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Lakshman, and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. It is to be directed by Om Raut who is previously known to have directed Tanhaji. This movie has been shot in Telugu and Hindi but will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
2. Radhe Shyam
Released on 14th January 2022.
The darling of the nation, Prabhas, and very beautiful Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam was released on this Makar Sankranti in bilingual languages i.e. Telugu and Hindi. The budget of this movie was around Rs. 350 chores. It was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi. Many other veteran actors like Bhagyashree and Krishnam Raju have played a prominent role in this movie. It is a new-age sci-fi romantic movie written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar.
3. Gangubai Kathiawad
Released on 18th February 2022.
The Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi was released on 18th February 2022. It is based on the life of a prostitute and how she turns the head of the brothel where she used to do prostitution every day and night. This movie has been directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced by Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios. This movie has a larger star cast like Vijay Raaz, Seems Pahwa, India Tiwari, Ajay Devgan, Varun Kapoor, Shantanu Maheswari, etc.
4. RRR
Released on 25th March 2022.
RRR movie is an epic action drama film directed by SS Rajamouli. It stars NT Ramarao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgan, Shriya Saran, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani, and many other actors. This film depicts the story of two real-life Indian Freedom Fighters and how they fight with the Britishers to save their nation. After getting three times postponed, it was finally released on 25th March 2022. It was also a multilingual film released in three different languages. It was made with a budget of 500 chores.
5. KGF: Chapter II
Released on 14th April 2022.
Chapter I has left such an unforgettable imprint in the minds of the spectators and neutral audiences of Indian Cinema that everyday Twitter trends were done by the fans demanding the release of Chapter II. This pan India was the most awaited one since 2018. It stars Kannada film industry-renowned actor, Yash. It is a period-action drama directed by Prasanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kirangandur under the banner of Hombale Films. In the second part of the KGF installation, many new casts emerged like Veteran actors Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, and Raveena Tandon who played very significant roles in the movie.
6. Major
Released on 3rd June 2022.
This movie was released in June and stars Adivi Sesh, Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saheed Manjrekar, and many other stars in prominent roles. This movie depicted the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who fought for his country till his last breath. It also showed how he was killed during the 2008 Bombay blast case in Taj Palace, Mumbai. It was directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka.
7. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect
Released on 1st July 2022.
The R. Madhavan starrer Rocketry got its release on 1st July 2022. This movie is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan who was the former scientist and aerospace engineer of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). The story revolves around how Mr. Narayanan was accused of espionage and in the later part was exonerated. This movie has been released in three languages namely English, Hindi and Tamil. It has also been directed, written, and produced by R. Madhavan himself. It got a Cannes release on 19th May 2022.
8. Liger
Releasing on 25th August 2022.
An upcoming Indian film is all set to release in two languages that is Telugu and Hindi. It stars Vijay Deverkonda as a Titular MMA fighter along with Ananya Pandey as his opposite lead. It also stars Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishnan in prominent roles. This movie is being directed as well as produced by Puri Jagannadh. The co-producer of this movie is Karan Johar and Charmme Kaur.
9. Brahmastra
Releasing on 9th September 2022.
The craze of Bollywood movies is still on and it will continue to do so if good films with good stories are made. Ayan Mukherjee after working for 5 long years is all set to come back with the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra. It will be a multilingual film that is all set to release in multiple languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. It will be released on 9th September 2022 and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy in prominent roles.
10. Ponniyan Selvan: I
Releasing on 30th September 2022.
The upcoming epic historical fiction film is all set to release in the year 2022 with a famous star cast. The magician of Indian Cinema Mr. Mani Ratnam is the director of this film. This movie stars Karthi, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bacchan, Jayam Rai, Tristan, Jayaram, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Aishwarya Lekshmi along with many other senior and veteran actors. This movie was made with a budget of Rs. 500 crores. It is also to be made in several languages.
11. Salaar
Releasing in 2023.
The upcoming action thriller stars Prabhas in the lead role and is written and directed by Prasanth Neel is to be released in the year 2022. Earlier it was supposed to get released on the 14th of April but now it will be released on a different date. It also stars Shruti Hassan. This movie has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu but it will be released in three different languages i.e. Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil. It has been reported that this film is made on a very huge budget. It was produced by Hombale Films.
